Today I have been enjoying Todd Terje’s edit of Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition.” He breaks down and radically lengthens the track, trading intensity for drama and celebration for suspense without sacrificing groove or energy. If you are in a floaty mood, you may enjoy it as well.
Love this. I honestly just love zoning out to just how beautifully everything is recorded. Just hearing that hi-hat, snare, kick, bass (assume it’s a keyboard bass?), and then the clavinet, in isolation, so clearly. Song is amazing too of course. And Todd Terje is god.
