When a cat jumps on a moving turntable and the record doesn’t skip, I wonder if I should be more amazed by the engineers overseeing the manufacture of the machine (in this case, people working at Yamaha in the 1980s) or the anatomy of the feline, which allows for such a soft landing (in this case, the cat we are fostering, Maggie).
