Kurt Cobain’s list of his Top 50 albums

I find myself having a different reaction to this than most seem to, but at the same time, I’m having a hard time figuring out how to describe it. I think the best way is more or less something like, “…And?” I can’t tell if people: 1) are tickled that he liked to make lists (guess I thought that was common knowledge, he was an indie kid who liked to read the British music press); 2) Think there is something especially unusual or interesting about this list; 3) Think that this list tells us something about his own music or who he was as a person.
Definitely not saying it’s not fun to look at it, I’m just kind of confused. What do you think about when you look at this?
